La información del Registro Único Nacional de Tránsito la encontrará exclusivamente en WWW.RUNT.GOV.CO
Here you will find information related to the RUNT’s operation model.
The operation model of the RUNT’s National Single Transit Registry revolves around a centralized transit and transport information system. This system operates with a collaboration scheme that depends on the information provided, online and in real-time, by multiple agencies, including the Ministry of Transport, Territorial Bodies, and Transit Organizations throughout the country
The model’s main sources of information are natural and legal people and / or citizens, who register in the system, request a procedure or consult transit and transportation information directly in the HQRUNT system.
Procedural request carried out by citizens are received through Traffic Organizations and Territorial Directions of the Ministry of Transport and are handled in the HQ-RUNT system.
The HQ-RUNT system manages information services by validating data provided by the Transit Agency or the Territorial Bodies, against information received from the originators of data referred to as: Other Actors. The system authorizes or rejects procedural requests and logs in modifications that result from a successful process.
The Other Actors are those citizens or entities that provide information to the HQ-RUNT system, such as: the National Registry of Civil Status, DIAN, DAS and Insurance companies, among others. These agencies are registered with RUNT, provide information to the system and use data for their own operation. Some of these actors, such as the Automotive Diagnostic Centers, the Driver Recognition Centers and the Automobile Education Centers, carry out procedures with RUNT.
The RUNT, in turn, supports its users through the Help Desk and receives requests, complaints and claims related to the system’s operation through its Contact Center.
RUNT’s operation model was built using current regulations and must function with service levels established by the Ministry of Transportation for the benefit of citizens, transit agencies, Territorial Bodies and other actors in the system.
Addressing the validation, authorization and registration requests made by users in the time offered, complying with established requirements and guaranteeing that information from concessioned registries is updated.

Receiving and communicating, promptly and correctly, to the mission processes the legal and contractual requirements to incorporate them into the technological infrastructure of the RUNT, which includes the administration, operation and maintenance of the system.
